Shown above is a broken floor joist that was discovered after some very unfortunate fire and water damage to our daughter's townhome.
We repaired it by "marrying" it to a new 2 by 10. So now, no matter how hard our grandkids jump on the floor above, they won't fall through!
This shows a really bad caulk job on a two-year old roof. Left untended, this could have led to streaks on the brick wall and ceiling of the front porch, water leaking through to the front porch, or, worse-case scenario, the roof could have rotted.
Here is the same area, scraped and recaulked. The important thing about caulking is that the caulk be forced down in between the metal flashing and the brick to create a strong seal.
We also did gutter repair to the same roof. Whoever installed the gutters only used one bolt so the gutter started to sag and water was not running out.
Here you can see where they only used one bolt, which didn't provide enough support for the gutter.
We recently did some work for a good friend of ours and repaired, stained and sealed his deck. This is what it looked like before.
Here's how good it looked after we finished!
We also re-painted our friend's fence.
